Not sure that is a correct statment. It has been my understanding that Portland Headlight is by far the most photographed lighthouse on the East Coast. That said I'm a big fan of Nubble as well. Been there many times and will continue to go. While this is an interesting shot If feels a bit flat to me. Almost has a dull appearance...

Very pretty. The lupines are in a nice setting with the door. Very colourful. I wonder if it might not have been better to have the far background blurred a little, as this would prevent to eye from being attracted to the lighthouse.

Usually, lighthouses pictures seem dramatic...Yours tells a quiet and joyful story...I love it! Outstanding composition, very soft and nice colours, and light too....
