After looking through your portfolio, with the exception of one or two captures, I dare say that the warmer end of the spectrum make up your favourite colours.. A great capture, I love the way you have stopped the motion. I would be interested in seeing any shots you might have with a longer stream into the glass and no bottle? or am I being too messy? Have you traded the height to make it a little more compact?

This shot intrigues me, the soft detail of the sky, the detail in the stones and the structure and the splash of golden colour have my eye searching all over your photo. I feel it could have been a bit sharper, but regardless, nicely done.

You have some beautiful avian captures Darlene, this one too is very impressive. Sharpness and detail are great! Hope everything went well for you with the hurricane!

If she knew the quality of your shots I am pretty sure she would have jumped to be in it.. and even gone to warddrobe to make your life easier! Better carry some modelling agreements around with you just in case!! and maybe carry around some spare clothes???

Great positioning Chris, it is funny how sometimes if you ask, you just might recieve.. but don't ask for too much though... luckily that sign arrives at the end! great shot!

With a hood ornament like that you would expect the car to have a very mischievous personality! I am thinking Stephen King... can you feel it?

I am no authority on IR but I like the image! It does give an interesting caste to the trees doesn't it?

The draconish structures to the left and right of the "egg" give this an interesting abstract quality, I like it. The egg in my view is the body of said dragon, the left is the head.. intriguing!

I wonder what would happen if the lines were cut? Was what I asked myself when I played with the previous one...

That is one very moody feeling you have given this capture Tony, The perspective, grain and colour, or lack of, and use of silhouettes really bring that feeling out, it is like a dangerous and foreboding shadow play. I played around with actually taking the kids out of the image, but I am as yet uncertain whether they detract or add to the image for me... a quandrary!! I feel because you have left much of the detail above, I am not sure as to what my attention should focus on, so I had a bit of a play.. what do you think of these? Great shot!

Wow, I go away for a few weeks and you have put up all these great shots to comment on... I think if I actually manage to do that my karma level would jump by a few thosuand points! I can see the benefit of a longer lens, I have a few areas where it is virtually impossible to get close ups of the birds I am capturing, you have a remarkable image here and I am looking for the fishing lines that are holding him up! great capture!

I see these tricks in emails every now and then, and they always confuse me!! Great Shot Rob, I like very much the arrangement of lines and the reflections, though the parallels are not quite there on the other side.. but you know what.. now that I have a Fourth look, I can see the shot would not nearly have been as good looking straight accross as opposed to your worm eye! I think I shall stop now

cheers Chris, of the series of shots only one was in poor shape due to flare, but I think the intense fog helped in diffusing and softening the light.

Thanks Ann, I would love to go back and get a sharper shot of him in this instance, but I don't want to see that look again, this is to remind me one of these days I want to set up something of a better enclosure as you have described.
