Absolutely phenomenal!! What rich colour, and what a mood, with that smoldering sun and that stark silhouette, the back-lit mist seeping through the knees of the trees, fizzing over the shadowy grasses. Majestic. Brilliant capture! Cheers,

Your comment is deeply appreciated. Yes, I get a very astral sense from this shot as well. I don't know why, but I just like it and that is why I decided, "blast, I'll post it, why not." Thank you very much. I think these bugs (milkweed assassin bug, this one being an immature nymph) have quite a bit of character, and that is what really made this shot so fun for me. He was excessively curious and friendly, and quite patient, as I fumbled about. And what a lovely day it was. Such fine conditions.
