Very nicely done Ron, Did you crop or stitch this one? I was just through there in Sept. driving back from Boston and had a heck of a time getting wide enough. 7+ from me

Thanks for your feedback Ron....The moon was actually that color (no post production work at all). A crop would be a little better I agree. Also, There was a farmer on a tractor that was kicking up dust right in that first little valley that I wanted to get. But, he never became visible for the 10 minutes or so that the moonrise is so dramatic. Dog-gone-it !!

Thanks again

Very interesting image.....There's a lot of things to look at here. I like it a lot. You've posted some very good images on usefilm....One thing I'd like to see is the camera settings though.

Nice job !!

Very Interesting....Maybe just a little more mountain would look more impressive IMHO. Sometimes when we snap a shot, we don't always have the time to do things just the way we want.

Wow!! She's got some miles on her......How are you getting all over the world? For photography? Or other reasons??

Nice job

This is what's called a candid shot. The person is unaware of the picture being taken and hence doesn't put on a big smile or posture for it.

No, there's nothing real special about it. A small town downtown with a little history. Probably thousands like it across the country. If you read the caption that was written, the thing that makes it a little unique is it's taken at the same angle and has pretty much all the same buildings as the famous drawing from artest Thomas Kincade about in the 1940's.

That's different........I like it. You know, there's so many ways to be creative. I'd suggest bringing out her hair and face a little more but that's just my opinion. I looked at all your stuff and was quite impressed with your creativity. Nice job!

It is a great picture.......Without reading all the other comments, I have too wonder if you didn't place the child in the picture digitally. The light seems to be coming from the other side and it looks like it would be quite difficult for her to hold on to that branch. Oh, nevermind, I love it anyhow.......

Hey Kriss, Good eye..Just lookin at the picture makes me guess about 12 degrees F. or so (Cold). Probably late afternoon. Perhaps you had to hold your breath so you wouldn't get condensate all over the camera. Your toes were probably starting to get a little numb. (unless your sitting in your SUV, lol). You ever listen to that crackling and crunching the snow makes when your walking on it? I don't think you can ever replicate that sound anywhere else.

I like ii a lot...simple, nothing fancy, day to day life. The B&W definately is better. Color would make it boring.

Very, Very good......Compared to the original which was kind of ordinary, this is a huge, I repeat huge improvement. I like the highlights in the water the most. You are such a creative person.

Let's see.....Which one do I lkie better? Hmmm... Definately the PS'ed one. But it's close. The color selection on this one is way better then the original. Don't it seem like RED (his shirt) distracts from most photos? The toning down really looks better. He looks like he's got other things on his mind besides taking another dumb picture. Maybe a "I wanna go home and get me something to eat, hurry up mom!" It's always a good time selecting the hair, isn't it? And, oh by the way, I'm Swedish, blonde hair and everything. What's the deal with ya'all having dark hair up there? Just kiddin.

Nice job !!

Very nice......Makes one think of the history of the place. Perhaps you could also find a good photo of some 1920 immigrants and have them looking out that window and turn it into a septia type photo....or maybe not, I don't know.
