This photo is absolutely brilliant - the composition with the placement of the light, the flowers, your sister, the spare chair - and then the shadows of the flowers - - your sister's expression...wow!! Oh - I had better not forget the tonal range...

Very well "framed" Lukasz! A wild scene up there and a lot of joy it seems. I like the composition with the rubble to the left that gives stability. Good work!

Nice work, Lukasz. First, the diagonal tilt gives a great composition, and secondly, the textures here -- especially the juxtaposition of the building texture against the sky speckled with leaves -- is wonderful.

I love abandoned places . . .

beautiful tilt! And I love the tones, especially the high tones leading the eye upward.

Yes, I understand about the death thing, it's there, it's there in most really beautiful things, I think.

Hi Lukasz, signs for sure. Of decadence, abandon. Ruins, maybe. But signs of you amazing talent as well. Great B&W, as usual. Marilia

Jeanne thanks for your comment..you know I really want to have face of this woman on the pic..but I was badly situated for this photo but you know the best source of your improvement are photos which you don't make...maybe I will find one day such a situation...

Well, I said I would think . . .
and the more I think about it, I think she is good right in front of the door. In fact, she may be turning to go up the steps, who knows?
Though I do doubt it . . .

I'm sorry Sarah, but I don't think so it's good idea to cut out foreground..it is as important in this pic as backrground..

Intriguing photograph! She looks very well dressed, but in a place that has seen better days.

I really like all the foreground bricks, they're soo crooked and wave-like, then the upright building. This might have been stronger if she hadn't been directly in front of the door? I am not sure, but it is a thing I will think about.

A picture that makes me think is always a good thing )))
