Nice shot Sandra. Composition is very good but give some though to cropping the bottom of the image.
Best regards

Hi Sandra
Haven't posted to this site in years and just started up again when it changed its name.
Still see you haven't changed-breath taking shots of the
coast. Truly awesome.

A beautiful image indeed Sandra. The only thing I might have done is cropped it a little below the beginning of the fence.

I guess Charlie has given you a lot to think about in his in depth critique. Me, I love what you have captured in the soft pastel like tones and the great detailing. One thing I might agree on is that, if possible, return on another day and look for some alternative perspectives. The area is very photogenic and would lend itself to an additional visit. Well done Sandra. Best wishes.

such a monument is a real attraction and as such understandable as a motif for suchlike image work. as much as the location offers a sense of desolation. the position of the camera should have been put further to the left to allow the fence a more prominent position in leading into the view. although it seems understandable that the idea probably was to show the panoramic view into the endless sea and an unfathomable horizon, less could have been more. that is to say, cropping or a closer prosition should have added to the dramatic weather-winter-cold-sea-panorama. the light: no light - no picture. most evident here. we see the idea but at a very flat front lighting. waiting for the sun to come around (or shining another day close to setting!) could have brought us an extraordinary result. nowadays some PS artistry could well improve this photo so much that almost all my remarks above would show obsolete. good work for improving. keep on working.

This is a beautiful image, Sandra. The lines, shapes, and reflections of the rocks make a dramatic effect. I really like this gorgeous scene.

Thank you Brian for the proper ID of this beautiful bird, After closer inspection a downy has no red on the throat, and No speckels should be on the white chest.
Thank you again my friend
