Your absolute best !! What an image ... and in spite of your average equipment :-)

Nice picture! I tried to put some Fuji Slidefilm into my digital camera as well but it jammed the compact flash slot and I can't get it out anymore. Can you help? On another note you seem to have some issues with backround noise, your backround looks as if painted (inside joke) :-)

Stunning! Good tones and composition. Can you provide some background and technical information to this shot? Cheers Peter

Hi Gerry

Awsome shot! I would try to do one of two things:
1. Use a ringflash and get close enough for the reflection (if any) to happen within the pupil, so you can PS it away very easily. That would also take care of the reflection of the eyelids
2. Make the surrounding lighting very bright (bright sunshine), make a tent with a white cloth over your son's head leaving only an opening on top for your lens. No reflection, no eyelids ... the question is whether your son will cooperate :-) - I have seen other macro shots done like this ...
Regards
Peter

Cool picture. What about trying to make it wet? Should look great with the ringflash :-)

Had some success with the TS yesterday. Sharp from front to back. Unfortunately the subject was quite boring, so nothing for usefilm. If you give me your email, we can take it off line
Regards
Peter
PS the "Raps Bild" was taken between Brugg and Basel :-)

Je vais devoir essayer ces tubes rallonge :-) une profondeur de champs et un flou sublime. Dur de choisir le sujet de mis-au-point ... tres belle macro

Good idea and tones. The image looks a bit soft to me. Hope Spring comes quickly ;-)

One can recognise your pictures on the spot. Very soft and calm picture with a very effective composition. Very nice. Personally I am not sure about the PS fog. The shot is I believe more powerful without it :-)

Excellent Idea and good sharpness. I would have used a reduced depth of field in order to focus the attention of the observer on the main subject and to avoid backround clutter. But that's just me :-)

Nice, Dramatic. I would have added more clouds and less water, but that's my preference. Nice picture.

The plane was a brand new Airbus on his second flight. Therefore the windows were still very transparent.

I personally love night shots. This one glows wonderfully. Although the flag is underexposed and kind of floating in nowhere, it adds to the ambiance. Nice shot

Very nice shot. Nice colors and so simple ... I love this kind of picture. The only thing I could say is that by putting the camera closer to the ground you could have prevented that all skaters are just so tall they touch the horizon and by doing this prevent the picture to "fold in half" - just a thought.

Hmmm nice portrait, but this time the PS side is not my cup of tea. I would have preferred the portrait as such, cropped in panorama format around the eyes - just an idea

I hate PS work that's so obvious it kills every emotion that dares come up. Now that's a great piece of work since the PS stuff is not so "in your face" and the idea is very amusing. Excellent work and thanks for your comments.

Great Idea! Good composition, I would have tried to under expose a bit more to get the sky more deeper blue and the tree totally black

Lighting is balanced, but I am thrown off by large the red something in the top of the picture. So for what its worth framing could be reconsidered.

Nice colors. Very lively photojournalistic touch. It appears a bit out of focus. I would have tried lesser depth of field as the eye gets distracted with the many things so the girl(?) gets more attention

Thanks for all your comments and for welcoming me to usefilm :-) To answer Michals question, I wish I'd had a ND Filter since I was limited to expose 2'' because of that. I would have liked an even longer exposure. Regards Peter
