Before I dont like B&W night photography because I think the essence of night photography was the images of bright colorful lights, but after looking at this one I changed my mind and want to try something of my own... This is a terrific shot! Nice composition, the reflections, the moon behing and the starlight effects on lights. This is perfect! Congratulations!!!

Not too dark at all, Jon. Excellent rendering of the mood of a dock at night. I would crop out the building on the left, leaving just the moon at the side of the image.

hi jon,
this picture is absolutly cool!!!
the facial expression of the model and the background is very proper regarding the colour effect. if you look at the picture you feel somehow invole - much more than in the one whiteout the colour effect.

Very creative composition, Jon. I really like the way you divide the frame down the middle with some sort of poster, flat, billboard, whatever, on the left, and a very healthy looking model on the right against that gray wall. Cool.

Yes, a little scary, but I also see kind of a sad or forlorn aspect to her expression. I think this is quite a powerful portrait. The sharpness or hard focus contributes to the character as does the B&W background. This is a well done photograph IMO. Nice work!

This is top banana. You've got a lot of great photos - I see you are creative with PS too. I appreciate how you've used the digital form. Not so much to correct bad photography but to give a kick to an already well executed photo.
Blue teeth are a no no though.!!!
