I like this scene very much, you should give it to the
local tourist office for their advertising.
Great!

Good idea and perfectly executed.
I want to thank you for you comment for a photo of
mine, it brought me to your gallery here which I
enjoy very much!

I like the concept of 3 (or a couple) of similar
photos for one theme very much.
I hope you don't mind when I'll borrow this idea
for some time.

I'll give it back to you when I'm finished

This is a very intense photo that works perfectly in
black&white.
I would crop away the brighter stones on the right side because they lead the eyes away from the main subject.
An outstanding photo

I like this very much, your cropping makes this photo very interesting.
Maybe her face is slightly too dark, a little bit more light for the face (some fill flash, a white sheet off paper) would have make it perfect.
But it's still outstanding as it is!

lots of fill flash

Good use of the colors, maybe cropped a little bit
too much.
Anyway, I like this very much

Perfect use of the rule of thirds, and I like
the colors and the glow behind the rightmost lock
very much

Thank you all for your nice comments.
@ James: the photo was made about 1 hour after
sundown, I underexposed by 1 stop to give the
sky this intesive blue.

You have a good hand for portraits.
Simple composition, but very strong.

I think this photo has very strong message, great, I like it.
I'd be perfect if exactly one half would be the hand, the other half the flag

to margo: yes, that how they were sitting here.
As soon as they noticed me the changed to that position, probably for mimicry.
