Very engaging shot. I once owned a '52 MG, the two seater sports model, not the sedan shown here. So of course I had to check out this image. My MG was always needing a tune up, the electrical system always smelled as though it were about to burst into flames, the heater didn't work, but I loved it anyway. Nice photo. The car is in absolutely the perfect setting.

Very cool shot, captures the mood of a bar. Good use of available light and good composition. I love her hair!

On my monitor this seems slightly inderexposed. His right ear is in darkness. But this is a wonderful shot, full of character. The bar is a perfect background of course. I'd love to stop by for a cocktail.

Nice shot. A strong, interesting image, perhaps a little under exposed. I would like to see a little more detail in the elephant. But I understand this was a difficult, high contrast situation.

Very film noirish--well done. As usual, you do very creative work with "negative space."

Good guess, Richard. This row of old buildings is right next to the Amtrak station!

Good photo montage, Linn. You found an iteresting way to save this car from itself. And an interesting bit of history. (Once many years ago I wrote a term paper on Jan Smuts). I just posted a photo of an older Caddy in excellent condition. I'm not sure what year it is. Perhaps you will know.

A crazy shot. very creative, like something out of a Scifi film.

I really like the contrast between the organis and in the inorganic--concrete and steel on the one hand, trees and autumn on the other.

Good grab. A familiar scene, brings back memories of my days as a swap meet junkie.

Great capture. A good composition, and I think the grainynessadds to the shot. Good tonal range.

Very moody use of light, excellent composition. I note this is the Guggenheimer site, not the Guggenheim. Different family, I suppose.

The clarity and sharpness are excellent. On top of that, you have a nice diagonal line to aid the composition. Great shot.

Yes, this is beautiful water and sky. Good composition with that spot of bright color in the foreground (the umbrella and the bathers)and the diagonal surf line that carries the eye into the shot. I wish I were there!

Where do you keep finding these relics? I think they make great "portraits." Good black and white. I think it is cropped a little too close on top. Otherwise a very cool shot.

Thanks for your comment, Peter. I used no filters at all, just desaturated, did very light sharpening, cloned out some funky background, resized for the net. That's it. No cropping at all.
