Anson, my father's people (the Simmons' clan) were all centered in North Carolina. Maybe a few wandered off to Alabama. Thanks for your words about the CJ in BW. The BW version actually causes some people to gasp!? I had to make prints for all my daughters' inlaws and friends.

Good composition, and the exposure is right on. You managed to capture all those shades of white/gray, which is never easy in a shot like this.

Thanks to all for your comments. This is a photo of my grandson. He told me he doesn't like this photo because he didn't know I was going to take it and he didn't get a chance to pose. (I love candid portraits.)
