Great capture Ken. I know you can't control the light on "opportunity" shots like this one, but maybe a fill flash would have lightened up the dark side of the ducks. Still a great shot as is. I have a shot of a squirrel that isn't technically great, but content-wise it's a "keeper" like your ducks. Good job.

I've taken a lot of floral shots too, and I really like this one. It's a beautiful subject, well composed with nice color and detail. Good work again.

Thanks for your comments, but help me a little further please. What "jpeg artifacts" can you see in the repost that I should be looking for? When I compare the two I see the repost as much sharper in the details. I'd really like to learn from this one if you have time to comment again.

Excellent shot, very crisp and sharp. If anything perhaps a shallower DOF to take out the busy background. Exceptinal subject very well presented. Good work.
