Christian, I can only imagine how gorgeous this print is in real like. The scan you have uploaded is so full of texture, but the real thing must be something else...

This picture screams out "weaker sex? nonsense!" and I just love the expression of concentration on her face.

The rich indigo tones are fantastic also!

Thanks for posting this one. I sure hope you plan to post some more stuff.

Christian! I finally found my password to get back in here...great to see your new work! As always, they are all so evocative and create such a mood-wonderful work!

I haven't done much with my holga lately, ever since i dropped it and the back fell off and probably exposed the entire roll--but seeing yours has given me the itch again...God, I've missed seeing your work! I'll be in myrtle beach for christmas, and in fla again in january...got to stock up on lots of film.

Love your work Christian...at first I thought "it's too bad she's not in some ancient robe, and she wasn't wearing her watch", but then I thought "how long am I going to deny the use of modern apparel in photography?" )) Great image...love her hair too

Excellent image. The colors are a nice choice. But I think the thing that strikes me as most interesting is the wavy negative. It adds a lot of interest to an already interesting shot.

Fabulous!
It's nicely framed, and I love the tones -- and of course, that quirky Holga lens. Nice job and I am happy to finally see a whole print

Emil, you are absolutely right about not getting many comments - however getting feed-back from you and some of the other photographers I really respect makes it all worthwhile for me!

Generally speaking, a manicured walking trail might be about as natural as a weedless lawn

That said...if it gives people a better appreciation of nature, and a better understanding that we need to coexist with nature, not attempt to dominate it...maybe it's not such a bad thing? Good luck on the planning...and really a wonderful image by the way...I love the composition, and with that colour I'm an easy catch d
