This is a good work nicely presented. It is almost a painted portrait with the background effect and sepia. Too tightly crooped imho. very strong emotional appeal.

Interesting effect Gianni. I wonder how it would work without a frame.

Interestingly it is his teeth that stand out mostly. He looks happy and a bit overwhelmed staring into the camera. Perhaps tightly cropped.

A very dramatic portrait! Great experimentation, perhaps too tightly cropped and dark on one side.

Gia sou Gianni! I ve also been away for a while. I hope you are doing well and it's really nice to see your work again. This is a lovely bridge more akin to Amazon than Crete. Could it be from Samaria or Preveli?

Auto contrast resulted in a bit of noise. To reduce it neatimage was employed (my first time to use this program). I guess that's why the boat and the wave have a somewhat "artficial" look about them. Neatimage relies on large (100x100 pixels) areas with just one color and no patterns to reduce noise with minimal "side-effects". In this photo I had to compromise as these areas are quite small.

Beautifully composed and presented under difficult exposure conditions. I hadn't realised that wall paintings are to be found in Danish churches! Would love to know more about this style as my mum is into iconography!

Great clarity and good choice of time. The shadows are probably unavoidable.

This is becoming more and more interesting! I hope it doesn't stop there! This choice of background ties in well with the trio. Shadows are gone, frame allows view through it and I wonder what the effect of a darker background would be. A very pleasing composition well captured and nicely presented!
