Dan: this was taken from a multi-storey carpark across the building. There was minimal distortion in the original which I have perspective-corrected in Photoshop. The rest of the photo is essentially unprocessed.

Steven: this shot was taken in the evening near dusk, so there wasn't much of sun, cloud cover or not The main idea lies more with the contrast of the lighted windows versus the unlit ones.

What you have there is the old Hill Street Central Police Station in Singapore which has now been converted to the office for the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts.

Onur: Thank you for your comment. Wished that you would tell me how to improve the composition though I have got two versions of this actually, a horizontal one and a vertical one. Find this horizontal one more pleasing actually. Regards.

Great lighting. I do wish that the flowers on the right are a little bit more well exposed as they look a little dark currently. Good composition and sharpness generally otherwise.

A good captured moment of a sparrow. Think sparrows are not an easy subject to capture in the first place and you have certainly managed to catch this one well. The only issue is the branch that is passing horizontally across at the top. This branch is distracting to the viewer. Also, I think the focus can be a little sharper. The lighting is also a little bit flat. Good effort otherwise!

Excellent composition. I like the way the cloud on the top right balances out the red patch at the bottom left. You've got great lighting and saturation in your photo. The red patch leads the viewer into the photo. You've got a classical landscape shot there. Congrats! Thank you for commenting on my Spikes architectural shot too!

Very good colours, lighting, saturation and great reflection. Find the cropping a little bit too tight though. Including some of the water at the top/in the distance may have help in increasing the depth of the picture a little. Wonder if a vertical orientation could have helped here.

Excellent shot at illustrating depth and perspective. My only grouse is the lack of a foreground subject to lead the viewer into the picture. Otherwise, composition and lighting are excellent.
