great idea to photograph this. it's almost symmetric. it's a pity the whole pic isn't that sharp as i expected. still, great macro-idea...

the lantern itself feels solid and the shdow feels broken in some places . looks like the shdow creates another reality . a very nice photograph .

It's a little bit dark I think, but very beautiful! It's standing there with grace... lovely! Perhaps you should crop the right side for a better composition?
