Composition and colors are excellent...detail in the fur is well captured and the dof is perfect...i love the tight crop...you can tell he is relaxed...expect him to close his eyes any minute...really is a beautiful cat

An excellent photo Mark! I think the composition of this one is perfect, and the cat looks as if it's about to pounce! You've cropped it just right, with the perfect amount of cat in the frame, as well as the grass and daisy. This is a very well thought out shot, I will try and get my girlfriends cats to pose like this too! :-) Excellent work, well done! Regards, Stephen

I can never resist a kitty photo and this one is super! Bob is a very good model. I can't help but think about your comment on trying to get a shot of the mountain lion. Well, perhaps Bob can substitute for now? Super lighting and details. I love the angle of this. You have gotten all the good features, but made it really interesting. Great job!

Mark,
Beautiful cat portrait. I have 2 cats and have tried to shhot them with the only lens I have (28-135mm) but it's too close and they always walk off or play up in some way shape or form. You've done a sterling job here, light is good, blured background, nice composition and most of all you feel the deep file of his fur - great.

Good capture. I had a VW, too, though not quite like this one. Background's a bit busy, maybe a shallower DOF would have helped some. I'm wondering if cropping a bit of the bottom out would improve the composition, too. Fun shot and a very interesting car!
