I would have to say this is an amazing shot. The varying shades of purple really make this shot stand out. Every thing from the foreground to the silhouetted conifers are flawless. Glad the wind gods were nice to you
I really love your portfolio.
Thanks for sharing

Great compostion and colors Morgan,However I find the lighting to harsh. One way to avoid this problem is to use a diffuser which can be bought pretty cheaply or try shooting on a overcast day which probably doesn`t occur in N.M to often. An other option is to use a flash with a diffuser card on the flash such as the Nikon SB-27. I know you shoot with Canon but I am sure the have something similar.
Cheers

Excellent composition and colours. This cactus is very different from what you find in the South West of the U.S. It does not seem to have any spines. Is this typical of the Cacti in Pakistan?

Cheers

Awesome shot. The colours and composition are excellent! I am glad the lack of birds didnt stop you from capturing other beautifull objects in the forest.

Great shot and mood! Love the stormy sky. Sedona is a beautifull place. You managed to capture the beauty of Sedona without the intruding resorts which seem to liter the landscape.

Another great shot Darlene. The sharpness and clarity is amazing. I really enjoy your portfolio. You need so much patience to capture these wonderful birds.

Great perspective and composition. Did you use a polarizer to get such an amazing sky?

Great Shot. I like how the people in the shot add perspective to the size of the dunes. I was there 3 weeks ago and the winds were terrible for the 2 days I was there.

Beautifull scene. Great DOF and I especially like the flowers in the foreground. I just got back from Arizoinia and California shooting the wildflowers that were so abundant this year.
Great Job

Thanks Bill for your comment. As for a filter I used a circular polarizer for the water ,but had little effect on the sky due to the fact that the sun was rising behind my back.

Hi Bob, You seem to like to shoot the same subjects as I do The lighting is excellent as is the DOF but, like myself seemed to crop a bit to tight. Are the owls still in your area? They should be leaving soon to go to their breeding grounds.

Great job

Great shot Bill. I like the slight blur of the wings which gives a sence of movement. Its nice to be able to go the tropics to find such lovely specimens. Is this in Costa Rica?

Fantastic capture. The lighting is excellent as is the composition. I especailly like the contrast of the vegetation against the red cliff walls. Ill be there in April hoping to capture moments like this,
