It is Ms. Marple! Look at that. Very neat photograph of a very interesting looking woman...distinguished looking woman is more like it.

Wow...very powerful. Was there any photoshop used on this to make it look this way or is it a natural photo. Either way...very cool photo.

Don:
I have done the unsharp masking but I must have not done it with this one. I was also using a new system when I did this and was not familiar with the unsharp maksing stuff. Thanks for the advice though.

I wish there was something in this photo, like a tractor or barn. It would add to it. But this is still a very nice photo.

The background is really lovely. I wouldn't mind seeing her off to the side a little bit instead of right in the center -- maybe that could be a future idea. That doesn't mean I don't like this one, though, that is just an idea. This is still a really great one. The brightness really adds to the photo too and I love the way the wind is catching her hair a little....

Even before I saw who this was in memory of I felt like crying. What a beautiful photo! I love the feeling in this. Forget anything else, which I find no flaw in either -- it is just lovely! Technically, etc.

Great in the air capture.
it is too bad the girls face can't be seen and the light in the right is a little distracting, but at the same time, sorta adds something to the photo. Nice try at action, which I am sure you know more about than I do!

Great way to frame her face in this photo. I love the way her eyes stand out and the darkness around her face against those green eyes. I know the dark material is part of her garb, but it adds to the beauty of the photo. So much can be read in those eyes!

Thank you for your nice comments on this photo. It might should have been labled an abstract in the first place, As Arturo said, but thank you for noticing something in it. :-)

Very cool shot. Love the way the old cars are in the front and the train is traveling over the viaduct. Neat sset up that is for sure.

Eric:

I plan to head down again with some black and white film and see what it would look like in black and white. I've converted some of these photos and they do look pretty cool in B&W one is still in my portfolio.

I think the background adds to the photo, even though it is busy, because it tells the story for us. Otherwise we wouldn't know that this man was a fisherman -- even though his clothes do tell the story a little too. I really like this photo and maybe it is because it reminds me of my grandfather. I never knew him, but the stories I have been told tell me of a man who loved to fish. I like what you've captured here and the sharpness, color, etc is just amazing. The way the man is positioned on one side and the background on the other is also very interesting. You've added an interesting background in 70 percent of the photo, faded, and then the subject in focus on the other 30 percent of the photo Interesting composition choice.

Great idea, but the grass seems to cover her a little too much to me. We can't really see her face at all. I love the choice of black and white though and again -- the overall feel of it!

Great action shot here. Nice job with it. too bad you weren't at a different angle, but it is good considering you didn't get the blur of the movement in the shot that might could have ruined it, but then again...it could have added to it! :-)
