I see we have the same camera setup
I like the mood of this picture... the fog on the water adds much

Might consider adding it to the moody landscape project?

Hilarius idea, and great title. I don't have much tips for the yellow, sorry. It is weird art.
Uniqueness gives you a higher mark.

Ok guys.. help me out here. It seems I get a lot of low light photos that have a yellow tint. My Nikon has Auto Settings and TTL flash and I've tried various settings to stop this from happening. I've attached the original photo before I did a tint adjustment in MS Picture It. How do I determine what is the best setting for a low light condition (camera specific if you can)? How can I tell if I'm going to have problems with yellow tint prior to taking the photo? Any comments would be greatly appreciated! (I'm sure this is a really stupid question, but I'm tired of wasting film trying to figure it out!)

LMFAO

Terrific composition, with the neck coming from the corner, the limited dof, and the colors of the background.

I hope I can find one of these one day; it would annoy the neighbors no end.

wow!, this is an interesting character for sure. the wine country is not generally noted for it's citizens with such splendid plumage.

with any "street" photography you rarely have the option of choosing time of day or how much contrast the image has. the color saturation and contrast are so high in this image i don't know if its a feature or a bug. i use kodak gc400 a lot and rarely get prints like that. it makes me think you should take a look at some of the online monitor calibration tools becaseu if i dial the contrast way down on my display it starts looking pretty good.

Hi Rusty, this nice and little kitty deserves at least a commentary ;-)) Good and opportune work, congratulations! How old is it and... where is the milk? Best wishes, Felipe.

Hi Rusty,

Great shot but could do with some adjustments in Photoshop. I have taken the liberty (forgive me) of tweaking the levels and adjusting the perspective which has had the effect of making it the vertical Tower of Cozumel. Well done and keep up the good work!

Just great, hard shadows on the wall behind and all. This smacks of old time Hollywood, which must be the look you were going for.

I am not related to anyone who is associated with this lighthouse. And your right, the sunlight was a bit to harsh. However, we were on our honeymoon cruise and had limited time in town. Thanks for the comments!

Are you related to person who established this lighthouse?.....It is a nice picture, but needs more oomph, maybe reshoot on a dark and stormy night when the lamp is on?? or PhotoShop a dark, cloudy sky?? Regards, Robert

Great orange color and silhouettes on the horizon! I think the horizon needs to be rotated to the left a couple of degrees, and I might crop some from the top and bottom (see example below). Very nice mood though..
