Good action shot, V!! They seem to have halos around their booties though. I mean their shoes, of course. Needs a bit more carefull blending in with the background.

Hi Jean Luc. I wanted to find something of yours that I could really get into critiquing. This looks interesting. Are you ready?

Okay when you are in photographing from that spot, does the horizon go off level? The horizon on this photo is a bit tilted and yet you probably used a tripod.

I think the background sky is a rather unusual color. I would have liked it to be blue and the water in foreground to be blue, also. The tonal range in the black and white parts is very good. Good contrast. Pretty nice view you have there~

Your florals are outstanding. Love the background, color of the tulips and the framing. Nice compositon.

very well shot. I understand that white is one of the hardest colors to shoot in flowers. The lighting is very nice. I might crop it just a wee bit closer. But good background and composition, too.

Lots of patterns in this one. Good 'people' or street photography shot. Nice tonal range. There is a lot going on in this photo. I like the DOF on this. The luminosity is very good and so is the contrast. I just wish it was a wee bit sharper. People have been telling me that when they scan in prints they always sharpen them in photoshop.

Joe, I wondered if it was Flamenco. Looks similiar, but I have no idea of the expertise needed to dance that dance.

Good eye. This one is layered. Well, actually I mean there is the view of the outside of the shop, the inside and the step ladder (excellent silhouette, by the way) and then there is the view of what is behind the shop. I would bet your shop is as orderly and interesting as your portfolio appears to be.

I am going to have to upload my industrial park things. No where near your colors and sharpness and fine composition, but I must try them here, now that I see yours here.

Lovely. Great colors and composition. Love the shallow DOF. And yes, I recognize those flowers. They are great food for butterflies. We call them Michaelmas Daisies. They bloom in September. I never seem to be able to get butterflies to sit still long enough to get such a good shot. Well done!

All I can say is 'awesome'. ) Well, you know me, I talk a lot. I love her expression. Where do you find these beautifull models? And you shoot them so very very wonderfully too. I think you must relate to your models very well to get the expressions and poses we see in the portraits. I bet this one was a winner!

I am so glad I found time to pop into your portfolio. What a lovely shot. Where is this? Misty, mysterious, so easy to view and enjoy this one. Thanks for sharing.

As usual for me, I must find something to whine about. I think thin black line around the inner white matte would all that lovely mist from bleeding into the frame. Enchanting scene!

What a very good capture of this bird. I never knew they go into breeding colors. We have them here too. Eating the goldfish out of my pond!! Thanks for sharing this excellent photo. Peterson's or the other Birder's books should be coming to see you any day now!

Good colors on this one Joe. I would crop out the bit in the top right corner. The boats seem to fade into the background somewhat. But I don't want to lose all that color you have in the background. Perhaps if the shot was taken from a different angle? Marvelous colors though. I can see where there would be many picturesque places in your Country, as you have told me.

Ohhh you have been busy. I really like this one of the thumbnails. I know that your photos are so much more when opened. I wish I had more time. I am afraid she is going to fall off that cliff, but I am sure she must be meditating. What a fantastic contrast in her serenity sitting on a precarious perch. Love the tonal range, the contrasts. There is so much to appreciate about this one. The window in the rock could signify a window in her mind onto some new discovery. No info? oh well. I'll take 1/4 point off for that.

Colors are pretty good, but the lighting seems a tad off. There are hot spots, sorry to say. I think I would just crop it off to her neck, just above the most of the white area. Cheers,

Good sharp colors. I think you are cramming too much into your photos, Piero. If you got closer and just used the bottom half of this photo, it would be a real good shot. The photo should be level too.
