That's VERY cool.

You're using a flash, and their reflective stipes are throwing off the exposure, since they're so bright.
I would instead boost the ISO to 1600 or 3200 if I must so I can shoot with natural light, and then reduce the noise in photoshop.

I like the angle and how the DOF helps him pop, but levels are a bit low, and colors biased toward blue. Here is the image with levels and color cast adjusted, Elizabeth
