Lori, a negative I looked at after uploading this one was better. Will upload it tomorrow. Terry

Adam, the shot was solarized. The "noise" in the foreground is movement in tall grass by the wind. Terry

Just an experiment. You won't hurt my feelings. Terry

The camera angle, asymmetric elements and proximity of clouds contribute to the composition. The feelings of flight and freedom defy analysis.

Chris, the halo is in the negative. I no longer have this in my photoshop files. Terry

Russ, I misread your message. The white lines are a result of using the solarizing tool in PS. The strange
semicircular halo in the sky is what I can't explain. Terry

Russ, I have no idea why the halo is there. I've taken several shots with the sky but none of the others show the same effect.

Arreymbuo, nice option. I guess I was trying to emphasize the lighting in the sky when I printed but your version shows much more detail without losing much impact in the sky. Terry

Dallas this is a remarkable photograph. I can view it two ways. One way integrating the past with the present the two individuals were apart but are swept into the embrace. I can also see them in the present anticipating the future as they stand apart looking toward the embrace. Terry King

Autumn, your right. I wasn't planning to solarize but this gave an interesting result. See original shot.

Love the ethereal quality of this. Is there a barn or am I imagining it? What is a Lomo camera?

When someone's mind is engaged in chosing between two options, visual perception is usually reduced. Neither are our memories of visual experiences crystal clear.

It is a moufon sheep but the second horn is behind the skull. You can see the tip by the nose. The pinhole camera has a 50mm focal length which is wide angle for a 4x5 hence the distortion. Terry

I really like this picture. Every child has their secret hiding place to look out on the world. At first I thought the object? seen through the trees as distracting but then I began to wonder what it was and the relationship with the child. Good exposure and composition.
