Here's a cropped, sharpened, version with the black levels touched slightly for contrast. I think I like getting the red splotch out of the corner but I might ultimately crop it square and leave the butterfly in the center.

Cute little fellow. If it was mine, I would crop a bunch off of the left side to get the bug off center and sharpen a bit more.

HI jenny,
Beautiful colors in this image, very nicely composed. It needs to be sharpened a bit...or maybe shoot at f8 for more DOF.
If this was sharp it would be totally AWESOME

Jenny, I enjoyed the discussion you fired on comments and how to encourage them, and now I've made the time to visit your portfolio. I was drawn to this one--at least partly because I like to take statues (I've got a "statues" section in my portfolio). Both crops are good, but I think I prefer the original (landscape) because the statue seems to be waving the rabbit towards the open space on the LH side, and I can imagine a conversation between them. The different textures are fun, aren't they! Shiny blue statue, fur, grass... This picture has a lot going for it. I think you'll soon have lots more comments, the way you're going.

Hi! I like the b&w version, very nice detail of the keyboard, and the movement of the hands is just right, I also like the title "the hacker"
ps thanks for answering my question about film and digital it helped me a lot and thanks for the comparison

Very nice with the rocks virtually framing the picture. There is a nice contrast beween the rocks and the vapor. The muted, subtle colors result from the high speed film, I think. All-in-all, a successful image.

You've carried off your theme well. Since you posted two images, one b+w and one color, I'll choose the b+w version, since the added abstraction helps I think. And color doesn't really add anything to your message. Your exposure is good and there is a range of tones although you haven't wrung the deepest blacks and whitest highlight out of this and that's probably just as well. The MS keyboard is probably a little more interesting than my straight version. I might have cropped a little off the bottom to eliminate the piece of cord. Why? Simplify, simplify.
