this is a great shot but I'd love to see more detail in the clouds, I don't know if you use photoshop but maybe a mask over the top using a hard light filter and change the opacity? but again, this is a beautiful photograph.

very moody, I like it but I wonder how it would look with the sky lightened, or there was a higher contrast between land and sky? But I have to say the flat effect of the clouds vs the detil of the trees and buildings is great.

thank you so much (but to be honest I actually painted the sky white and dialed down the opacity in PS to make the difference between the sky and mountains more stark) but thank you for the idea becaue I do have a habit of blowing the sky out when I don't intend to :)

to be honest I don't know that the negative filter is quite right maybe just a high exposure b&w would have worked? but still a wonderful shot Howard.

actually I had the shutter set entirly wrong for the conditions so nothing really came out but this one and you're right I think it worked in this one instant.
