I think this crop works better as the other. But of course you loose a bit sharpness. But I still think it works as it is. Because of his facial expression you don't really have too have a sharp image. I like it Doyle!

Wonderful crop and excellent exposed. Maybe in B&W it would look good too. She seems to be very old and for me as an viewer the portrait tells me she has seen a lot in her life.

NIce lighting and nice pose. Just a tip. The next time put the right hand to the top of her leg (I think it is called tigh?). Now the hand is unlucky placed because you can see all of it. But the rest is beautiful. COMPLIMENTS Jacques.

A capture too think about. In there faces you see how they must feel if you look at there cloth. Your presentation in B&W and the grain make it look like an old portrait from the early 1900. But of course this is reality and all of us should think how good we have it. EVEN WITH FINANCIAL CRISIS.
Thanks Luis for giving us the blimb of others nature and what tough life others have in our modern world (as we call it!).

Very nice expression on the models face and excellent B&W tones. I am not sure about the grain, mayb a bit too much, but that is only my taste. But never the less the quality of the portrait itself is very high and a pleasure to view.
