Such wonderfully saturated colour. Very nice detail on what looks like a rather small bloom. I like this very much.

Fantastic detail. DoF and colour. It really is so crisp. Very nice.

Great perspective, I would have liked to have seen a larger photo to be able to give a better critique.

Wonderful colours and I like the steam, but the hill and sky detract from this and I am not sure what the solution is, crop or DoF? I don't know.

Great work, it reminds me of this poster my dad had when I was a kid of two topless women riding a tandem bike with hats and long socks in Holland. Very 70's but I liked it. Nice skin tones but I am not sure about her expression, don't dislike it but just not sure if there wasn't a better one. On a very small note I think the sock on the bent leg should be fully stretched so it doesn't have a fold in the lines.

Nice full frame. I am sure she will like this when she gets a bit older.

Ocuh - the detail in the foreground is nice, I think I would have tried shallower DoF. Nice colours too.

Very nice, you have a way with your car shots, it must be hard working with all that shine and chrome. Congratulations on the placing.

Lovely composition, I might have used a shallower DoF to really bring the focus onto those orchids in the front, however as is they are beautiful. Nice detail.

Thanks Jim for all the comments. I have posted this else where without the softness and have had mixed reactions to it. I think I actually need to go back to the original colour and rework this as it was done quite some time ago when my photoshop skills were not quite what they are today (and I still have a long way to go). This shot along with the next one I will post are my favorite shots from my Harajuku series. Once again thanks so much for taking the time to go through my photos and comment.
Take care and have fun,
Jackie

Thanks Bek for the kind words. I like the hair disappearing into the background too. It is really a mix of fancy dress and fashion for the area - you will see weird and wonderful (each to their own) fashions in Harajuku but on a Sunday teenagers from the outer more countryside type areas around Tokyo head in to dress up and hang out. I am told it all started because of a famous Japanese Goth band (it's early days) used to busk on the bridge where they hang out, but nowadays most aren't sure why they do it, they just know they have fun so why not.
Take care and have fun,
Jackie

Thanks levi for looking and commenting. I found that ear distracting to, but I think it comes from the hair she had pushed behing her ear. Thanks again.

Thank you Aniko. My favorite from this day out in Tokyo is yet to come. Such an interesting area, it's always worth the trip into the madness.
