Nice capture. Great light and colors. I just wish it were a bit sharper but, I've always had trouble getting bugs to hold still too. Good shot overall.

The first step to a good photograph is knowing what would make a good picture and how to compose it. Your on the right path as you have demonstated both. Next would be focusing on the mechanics, work on getting your focus down and your there. If it all came at once it would be a dull hobby.

Like Rashed said, from the tail lights and slow shutter. I think these lines are from a truck, might explain the height of the brightest line...that's my best guess! Hope someone can give you a better answer.

Think I might have been through here once, or twice, or fity times...Welcome to uf!

Usually on motor ways the red lines like that comes out of the rear light of a car and it do extend so because of the slow shutter speed.

All of the best
