Just like kids! I like the expressions on their faces. I also like that there is room to the right. If I would to make changes to this, it would be (If possible ) move back a little so that you can see the top of the kid with the white t-shirts head. And either back enough to show the entire leg og the kid on the left or crop off the shoe. It is one of those photographs of kids anywhere yet it makes me want to know where this was. Did you know them? Good shot. NR

I like the crisp graphic effect of this shot, and the water is so well rendered

Even though you have controlled the high contrast better than most, I think that having shot this earlier or later in the day, would have added a lot more to this photo. Horizon is tilted - always be aware of that... But your choice of lens, suggests to me that it was intentional(?). IMHO, these shots work best with a level horizon. The foreground (that diagonal thing) seems a little soft. On a day like that you should have had a pretty faster shutter speed available, so I'm not sure that not using a tripod was the cause. Could this softness be caused by the scan?

I'd like to see more from you. Please keep posting:-)

Jaakov, this is a beautiful pic indeed and I think Jeff should have rated this picture, but maybe he plain forgot.

I like the subject you chose, but not the point of view. Don't yopu think, it'd have been more interessing, if you could see better the three barber? I suppose, it'd give a sense of more movement to the scene. anyway thanks to have send such a suggestive image (where is it?)
