Hi Chris,

You have a good idea here. It is difficult to make these scenes work, because they usually have so much going on in them that they become distracting to view. I do like the framing of the trees on the left and right borders, but it's a busy scene. Did you use a tripod? The scan may be why it looks soft.

Thanks for the compliments and tips! I will crop more next time. There was another car, it was to the right of the frame midway. I came back a couple of hours later when it had left to get the shot.

It was a strange week, lots of snow at the end of Janurary.

thanks again! - Chris

Snow is Surrey... I almost don't believe it!!! *grin* There's nothing like a fresh snow! In which I think it would have been nice to have found a road (if possible) that hadn't been driven on to create that feeling even more. As well, for the car on the left, I would have liked to not see it at all, or see all of it. Just some things to look out for! Keep posting!

Chris, Well done. I like how the shot looks natural - even the lights are not 'starred out' with the small apperature. You are either dedicated to the shot or you work the late shift??? Well done... :-) Sam
