Nice. IR gives interesting results. Maybe the tree is just a bit overexposed, but the contrast with the sky is great.

Thanks for the feedback. I was experimenting with trying to frame the shot with the tree's.

The dock is partly obscured. If you could have had a way to elevate your camera position, it would have made a big difference. Maybe even come in closer.

This seems a bit soft to me. but maybe it's the scan. the lighting is also very flat.Perhaps a different time of day and a better angle are what's needed here.

I like the way the water leads the eye into the picture. It's a pity your sky is a little blown out, but, then, I often have that kind of thing happen also.

Cropping just before the chair on the right would strengthen this, I think... as it would take away the distracting chair, and put the focus more on cat nose to cat butt. Very funny shot, Chris!

Chris,

What could of made this funnier is to catch someone in the act of pulling a slight, harmless, (ah what the hell) a really good prank on this person while they were asleep.

Very funny snapshot, Chris. I would crop more of the top and probably even crop the chair leg out, though then of course the head of the other cat is invisible, but it's not necessary to convey the message of the picture. Just some ideas.

The light just happened to be long enough. I didn't get honked at

I wasn't totally sure what I thought of the Sign when I scanned it. I think I am going to crop it out.

This photo has wonderful composition for such a quick shot (was it a long red light? *g*) I like how the dark line (sidewalk?) at the bottom interrupts the potentially dominating lighter shade of grass. The contrast between the tree on the right and the sky is subtle and looks great. The sign at the bottom right clutters the picture a bit, though.

Nice! It looks like a standoff between the willow with its "egg" (the rock) and the other tree on the left! This leads to a VERY minor quibble: if you print this, perhaps the trees on the right could be burned in to lessen their presence.

Thanks for the praise.

The 1/125th @ F11 with a #25 red filter, Is what I found on a mailing list when I was looking up how to use IR film. I didn't do any correction for the polarizer, I just made sure I went out with it on a very bright day! And kept my back to the sun.

As for development, 5mins @ 68F in HC-110 (dil-b), I don't make stock solution, I dilute 1:31 for the most potent developer. I agitate once a minute for 5 seconds (inversion).

Chris, this image is beautiful use of infrared. Can you offer some technical info - on how you derived exposure, and how you developed your film. I've been playing with HIE, but my results have been poor - the negs are very thin - looking very badly underexposed. Any help would be appreciated...
