$1.06. The banks and credit card companies charge you $1.15. They still sell them in the stores here like it's $1.20. They're still hanging on to the glory days. Just try to buy a Nikon lens, or a Canon one here, or in the US or in Bangkok for that matter. You won't find a 105 for under $2,000 CAD. Check out www.londondrugs.com They're all the same price.

Soryy Erwyn. When I said Canon bodies aren't as good, I meant for the price.

Because Canon lenses are about 3 times more expensive. But they have myriads of good ones. More prefessional than Nikon. Their bodies aren't as good. Check out a Canon store. I've seen a few in Asia. They have 8 times the selection in lenses.

$1,100 US I bet. Still well worth the money. I know Canon has way better lenses than Nikon. But these are good.

Hi Erwyn,
The 14-24mm is actually better than the primes. Believe it or not. Sorry to hear about the theft. At least it must have been a discerning thief. (I hope.)

The 85mm lens is on my list. Along with the 20mm, 14mm, 105mm, 14-24 and 24-70. Thousands of dollars, but all worth it.
