About: Photography seems to be one my favourite interests that has been occupying pieces of my free time since childhood (remembering myself at the age of 12 trying to photograph a wall from an unusual angle with my tiny yellow Kodak). Now, I am still an amateur photographer. Still not a good one. The difference between then and now is a better camera and more meters of film (or digital storage media) to abuse. What I am generally trying to do by this is to discover, gather, analyse, destroy and reconstruct things in the visible world around me and the invisible world inside me through a creation of pictures confined in rectangular surfaces. This whole process is interesting for me because structures (random or not) of modern everyday life that can be caught by the eye are highly complex. The two-dimensional 'out-of-time' nature of a photograph (i.e. its inherent ability to introduce abstraction) enables us to hide or reveal different aspects of this complexity that help us comprehend and reconstruct the world. The world inside us and outside. (Although, to me, these two concepts seem to be heavily overlapped.)
