About: Image creation, or photography, call it what you will. The discussion has raged between myself and my friends about the legitimacy of photography as art. Weather you think it to be or not, in the end it is one of the most popular ways of recording events around us. Photography has enabled me to capture and see things in a way that I other wise would not have done.
Beauty is a critical part of my photographic journey, it has always included people, but in recent times I have started to investigate things that we over look. The small details in how someone holds their hands together, or the little creature that we often step on. Coming form a Fine Art background I push myself to look for ways of seeing things. My desire is to create beautiful (but not kitsch) images that open peoples eyes to the world around them.
