It should be muted under those circumstances. So, no, I don't think it is too muted--that's what it is and what gives this picture its appeal. The whisps of clouds look great.

I don't think it's muted at all Rob. It is what it is.....a windswept day with threatening clouds overhead the sun trying to get a look in and some blue sky just in the shot. I love this compo it's got everything. A wonderful angled shot well taken....Best wishes my friend...Ray

You can really tell in this photo that wind is the force of nature here.
The muted photo with the fog rolling in is what is expected in San Francisco. It really captures the climate of the area.

Great Crop...Angle...And Composition.
The shot look Great to me....I would expect the shot to be a tad muted given the situation.
