Sophie, I agree with Ray and Roger about concentrating on one of the roses. They are quite beautiful! I wish I could smell them! This is a great site...I have learned alot already from the many people who have critiqued my photos. Regards, Danielle

Hello Sophie I am an older man who delights in floral photography, my granddaughter who is the same age as you shows no talent with a camera beyond taking the odd family snapshot, generally out of focus. So a BIG welcome to your arrival in Usefilm. I shall keep an eye on your progress.

I think I agree with Roger on this; the central bloom is in very good focus with excellent details to be seen. The colours in the shot are lovely but it would have been better to take just the one flower. If you have Photoshop or something similar you could try a different crop.
Anyway, a very good attempt made so keep it up. Best wishes to you, looking for ward to seeing more posts from you......Ray

Lovely roses, Sophie. Maybe if you concentrated on just one of them, and got it big and sharp, it might make a different good photo... try it anyway, and see if it works for you.
