WOW great shot Rob. You must have paid this guy to pose for you cause he's staring right into the camera. :)
The DOF and clarity in this image is wonderful. I love all the details I can see in the Elk himself. The fur, the eyes, the texture in his antlers, the weeds on the ground and even the tiny yellow flowers behind. The green blurred background makes for a perfect backdrop. The image is crisp and shar as it should be for such a subject. Were you using a tripod for this shot Rob and what level of zoom did you use?
Great shot indeed. You should be proud of this beauty. Well captured.
