You have approached this dramatic light in an interesting and daring way, very close to facing its source with the risk of having flare (not noticeable here) or a overexposed highlights (in the UR). You could crop still more (!) from the top to eliminate that spot (about 1/8) and have the pine branch seal yoour frame there.
