Gayle!

> And while afloat
> The little boat bended,
> And my story's ended.

This sounds like something that was inculcated to me when I was a nipper.

...Photograph, photograph, what shall I photograph?
The cat has eaten the pudding, er, photograph!

> a wee bit of magic ;>

As is your intricately penetrating visual screening method!
You see so much, you big saucy thing!

Yeah!

From an English nursery rhyme:

LITTLE Tee Wee,
He went to sea
In an open boat;
And while afloat
The little boat bended,
And my story's ended.

So,we can only hope that things end better than that little rhyme! The blue in background and backlit leaves seem to indicate a ray of hope! And that tiny blue dot (FG almost center)is a wee bit of magic ;>

From one who loves appealing light on leaves, you did a fab job here, dear Paul...

good light to ya,saucy gayle

Angelo!

> I like the grainy, almost dreamy look of this image.

This was mainly due to the ORWO (East German) film. A set of predictable effects that you could use to many an advantage.
Them were the days...

Yeah!

Nice play with light. I like the grainy, almost dreamy look of this image. Very well done!
