I see you?ve got a lot of advice already. The "noise" doesn?t disturb me at all. I like how all the birds are headed in the same direction, some of those on the ground looking at the flying birds. Beautiful stuff!

You can try using Neat Image to clear up the grain or you can turn it to BW using the Channel Mixer to really make the most of it.

What the heck happened to my comment????? Sorry Ahmed, I left you a comment earlier today, but it appears not to have gone through!
My suggestion was for you to try the tutorial Ernie referred me to on "Show Girl". I included the url, so you wouldn't have to go back to my image to find it. But maybe that's why the comment wasn't allowed through? Who knows!
Anyway, I'm glad I came back to read what others were suggesting because it means I get to say it again - I think this image rocks!!!

Beautiful composition, Ahmed. I love the three levels of horizontals: sand, water, and sky punctuated by the white birds. Very well done! Regarding the noise, I would use Neat Image (plug-in) in Photoshop. Select the blue color of the sky with "Select Color Range" (it shouldn't include the birds) - and then run either Filter/Noise/ Despeckle, or Neat Image, or Noise Ninja. But it's OK to use PS - Noise/Despeckle in this case, since you can isolate the sky by color. I hope this helps.

Yes, I had the same problem with one of my images. I downloaded a trial version of Noise Ninja (a ps plug-in that's supposed to be "really good") but still can't get a handle on the various controls. Very difficult application, for me anyway :))
Another alternative to using third party software, would be to carefully select the sky around the birds and then despeckle until you're satisfied or try that tutorial that Ernie helped me with: http://av.adobe.com/russellbrown/GoAwaySM.mov
You never know, it may work for noise too!
Oh, by the way, I think this image rocks!!!!

I find the 'despeckle' and 'median' commands in Photoshop certainly help to get rid of noise, Ahmed, but at the expense of blurring the photo. I know quite a few folk on here use 'Neat Image', but unfortunately for me it's not available for Mac users.
I like this shot of the birds ~ excellent image! And I want to thank you for the many kind comments you left throughout my portfolio ~ they are much appreciated!

I can't help with the noise as I don't know enough about it (I too will have to follow suggestions here) but I really like this image. I love the blues and the birds are so nice and sharp with very nice contrast. Such a sonderful frozen shot. No movement in the birds at all. Fantastic. Great capture Ahmed.

Hi Ahmed, You can download a Program call Neat image. It is probably the best Noise reduction out there. There is a noise reducer in PC cs2 that is ok. The Noise isn't bothersome in this shot to me. I think it adds to it and really boosts the images of the birds. Very good contrast between them and the sky. What a fantastic shade of blue! Well done my friend.

I love the sense of freedom in this shot.
There are programmes that reduce noise in pictures.
I use the 'Noiseware Community Edition' one - it's a free download and you'll find it at this web address http://www.imagenomic.com/ hope it helps.
