uhm... i could give it a square format, but i wanted to focus on footsteps and trails, maybe a lower crop would be less effective from my point of view... thank for your suggestion anyway!

I had Baha's thoughts as well (walking backwards)! It feels a little unbalanced to me. I can see the rationale for keeping a lot of the foreground snow in the picture but I would experiment with cropping up from the bottom (not that you have to :-)

Molto bella, ha un buon impatto visivo.
Trovo interressante il contrasto tra il ricco texture della parte destra della foto (roccia + alberi) con la parte "soffice" di sinistra (neve + nebbia).

About your own comment,i'd like to say that i've experienced it in all other aspects of life,i've even coined the term "Morphy's Law"!
and about this piece,apart from those fantastic converging lines-the railings,the tire tracks&the stone wall-and its natural beauty,reminded me of what i used to do
on virgin snow cover ;walking backwards looking at my own foot prints!Now Marco!Is that what you'd been doing ,too?!

assolutamente si, enrico...
i miei hanno comprato una casa lì quando ancora era un posto pressochè sconosciuto, così sono 29 anni che ci vado, e ogni volta credo che ne valga la pena... se riesci ad andarci in bassissima stagione (quando è quasi disabitata!) non te ne pentirai!

Questa immagine mi piace molto ha un buon impatto visivo con la neve e quel rosso dell'albero quasi in primo piano, poi si intravede il paese.
Vedo che la foto e' stata scattata a Scanno, e' tempo che vorrei farci un salto, so che e' stato meta di grandi fotografi, e' ancora cosi' carattteristico e fotograficamente appetibile?.

This is spectacular...love the footsteps that seem to just vanish! Great color on the tree as well. Is it often snowy with leaves still on the trees? Beautiful textures, too, in that wall/hill! Lot of pleasing elements here!
I am amazed this has so few views/comments, Marco. I love it...it's a great image and I know what you mean about being really happy with an image and no one even looks :(
