Hi Phil , We were in Fort William 2 weeks ago and drove to th "End of the Road" in Glen Etive for the 1st time ( I will show some of my pics of same idc)

Thanks for the comment Christine. All I've done to the image is adjust the contrast/brightness and colour balance a tiny fraction, so the aspects you are referring to are entirely natural. The difference in brightness between foreground and background and between left and right is just how the camera recorded it, due to the conditions and light at the time. It would probably look more "natural" if I had altered the image more or had combined several photos with difference exposures!

I really like the scenery but it looks like you altered the photo a little too much. The contrast in brightness between the foreground and background seems a little too severe; the foreground looks like it has beautiful details but you can't really see them because of how dark it is and it almost looks like there is a distinct line between the right and left side of the photo where the brightness and colors change.
