I like the Italian version better as well :-) The bar is quite intrusive but it also imparts a sense of claustrophobia which I think fits this night scene pretty well.

it's an iron bar, part of the structure... i shot this photo from the outside, putting the camera lens in a hole of the door, so i had no real choice... anyway i don't dislike the diagonal separation between the two lit areas... take a look to my other picture of that place, the effect is less intrusive...

Good night scene. I like the quality of lighting in Your photograph, but what is this beam going diagonally through Your picture? Did You shoot from inside of Your car? In any way it is not helping Your image.
