About I liked the effect of selective desaturation and the way the reflection on the pane sets off the leaf pair. Late daylight, PS for saturation, contrast, crop.
Thanks for looking and for telling me what you think!

I appreciate your comment about the editing, Stefan. I think that more subtle can be more powerful, calling attention to the substance, not the surface. I did do some editing, mostly selectively desaturating for example the green of the leaves.

Unusual, but very elegant color contrast. Not sure if it is "real" or not but if it is an edit it was done in a way that I can't tell! Creative either way.

I love the crop on this. The blue color on the window is such a nice contrast to the leaves. Great composition. Well done.

Thanks for your comments, Mark. I have found these deep, organic colors particularly attractive lately, or perhaps it's just that the late autumn is offering so much of this to my eyes and lens? Late afternoon light, late season color, late-in-life leaves... winter's icy cold and stark beauty is near at hand. Seize the warmth!

You're using these really impressionable colors as of late; not moody or gloomy, but deep and dramatic, which is my preference. I don't always tell people, but it's always nice to put even a thin border (like the one here) around the photograph, because of this site's blank white page. It looks more 'finished' this way.

Excellent detail that was brought out in the leaves, and the leaves to the left frame the photo nicely. BTW, thanks for taking the time to comment on my autumn leaves photo.

great shot. I think you couldn't have composed it better had you stuck those leaves up there yourself!! Well seen. Cheers, Gary

hi, love the image with that icy blue lit BG...i would crop in from the left as viewed because i don't think you need that much leaf covered over there and still have some window frame peeking from below left....the selective desat works fine here...very appealing comp,Tim

The window pane crops some of the leaves, this is a nice effect. I might have cropped out some of the leaves on the left though. I like the colours and the feel of the picture.
