Those yellow trees look really super against the blue sky, and I like the way you've got the rocks in the foreground too.

Hi Ann, thanks for your very nice comments. I have no secrets.. I use a 18-70 nikor lens for most of the landscapes. I shoot at f11 to f22 depending on how much I want in focus. I try focusing towards the middle of the scene so that the near object will come into focus at the small aperture. When done processing in photoshop I sharpen the images with a Fred Miranda sharpening program at the higher resolution and then when the image is resized down for the internet I give it another slight sharpening and this does make them look better. Email me if you would like any other information. My email address is in my bio. Thanks Don.

I don't know I always thought of aspen leaves as dollars the round ones of coin. Excellent capture and composition.

Nice image Don. The trees and sky give lovely colour and the rock in the foreground really anchors this shot. I love the weay you always get beautiful depth of field in your shots. Do you have a system or some technique of your own to achieve such lovely clarity in your images. If you do I'd love to learn about it. Great shot. Cheers - Ann :)

Thanks Gary, I am sure that you would enjoy a trip to Az. There are endless places to go and see. I have by no means covered all of it but have been to quite a lot of the state. If you ever get the chance by all means go and enjoy. Don.

Nice meadow landscape. Your horizon looks correct...trees are standing straight.
