Don't worry about the hues you got from an overcast sky, I think it makes the photo apart.

HI Don,
I like your single stem of wheat. (or should I call it a 'stalk'? I don't know LOL)
And I like that it is not real contrasty, rather a 'good mood', telling how the day was. And just a subtle kiss of color in the background.

Hi Janice, If you are interested we are having a great program on Friday at Stardust Theatre. It will be digital pictures from our clubs trip to Europe this past April. The show starts at 10:00 Am. Get there a little early, I will be in the projection booth. Don.

Do like this one - very simple, super details in the wheat, and the DOF with its rich and various shades of greens and tans make a perfect contrast with the soft color of the wheat - even if it's not golden. Well seen and great composition. Jan
