About A little Halloween fun with my scanner. Once again, the process is ripped-off from Grant DeLanoy's portfolio. I did a few like this about 6 months ago and thought this fits Halloween pretty well.

Thanks Roby,
Not a lot of people commented on this one.. Maybe it was just a little too weird. Or they thought I really looked like that and didn't want to hurt my feelings. :)

Thanks Fadel,
Just a little bit of Halloween fun. I'm not quite as ugly as this photo :) For quality Halloween shots, I prefer my cemetary series over this one.

Hi Endre,
This is actually half of a scanned image. My face straight on the scanner. Set the scanner for low resolution 96dpi, so that the process happens fairly quickly. While the scanner light bar goes by start with the right profile and slowly move your face in synch with the moving scanner bar until you get to the left profile. This gives you a very weird image of both sides of your face at the same time.
I only used one half of the image.

Hi Ray,
I've got a little catching up to do. These scanner images are a lot of fun!
You never know what is going to come out really. One thing for sure you get a lot of surrealistic images, that vaguely resemble the person being scanned.
Would you believe my party pooper wife wouldn't let me scan her! I don't know why? :)
