About As i have been told from another member, this are NOHAB-engines. I like the curved shapes of them and the colours of course. Quite old ones and i hope they will cotinue being extra engines in Uppsala - mostly they are in use for the local industry. The marshalling yard where they can be find are also in a large change... The layer work done to achieve a aging look.

Great shot Jeanette, The form in which they find the trains is unusual and very well captured. The work of tones and colors that simulate the passage of time it is perfect also.

Hej Anna!

Great capture and lovely post-treatment, Dear Jeanette. Congratulations.

As more than one visitor remarked, they seem kissing each other. And even their kiss is old! You know, the lips almost closed and strained! Their faces' color seems indicating that they are shy, too!!

This one is much less melancholic and impregnated of loneliness, than "Gone"; though very nostalgic, yet.

Loads of thanks for sharing this lovely picture.

uh... this one looks like something i'd get mad to shot... they really seem to kiss eachother, and the one on the left has got a funny rhinoceros face... i like the aging effect you obtained with the "maggot stained" layer, and i'm absolutely in love with the curve shadow that everyone out there seems to hate... i thought the title came from it, indeed.
in two (or three? does the article count?) words: AN IMPRESSIVE PHOTO! :)

Jeanette, you are a great artist, I've already said, I guess.
You've achieved a very nice work on a common scene ) although it's very exquisite... they seem to be kissing each other..hehe).
A minor detail is the post (?) shadow... but certainly you couldn?t avoid it.
TFS,

Good shot, Jeanette, though I'm not really sure that the 'aging look' was absolutely necessary. There are plenty of old postcards of railway engines from the past around, after all.
