Beautiful cloudscape, matches very well with the roundish bushes on the ground; beautiful!

hi,again! glad to hear you're up for a critique from me ;> ...i have a few friends who take the time to tell me what works and doesn't in their opinion, but "very few"....i buy a photo mag that allows people to send in their shots for serious critiques and i love how they mark all over it pointing out the probs and then show the improved shot with discussion that makes immediate sense...they also talk about composition and aesthetics, not just technical...wish we had access to such here.....would make a great award IMO....ya think? my email is kissthesky22@yahoo.com.....regards,gayle

Gayle

At last....someone with a real opinion...well done, girl...yes, you have a point and I think you could be right...as it is the whole comp doesn't feel right.

Thanks for the "brutality" look forwards to seeing more in exchange for me to look at your portfolio.

Cheers

Manu

ok, ya want brutal?..are ya sure? ..LOL..
for me, the impact of this comp is the way the light sweeps across the landscape, thus i would crop down until that huge puff of cloud isn't in the comp....of course that would take away the long vertical, but it would bring up the BG to show more of that max dof detailing...with the resizing that is....you would still have a large amount of puffy cloudscape...like the diagonal layers of land, shadowing and clarity
very beautiful place,Manu
regards,gayle

I really like the frame, the fluffy clouds and the saturated blues and greens.
I'd like to see a bit more interest in the foreground - in the bottom left hand corner.

Not anything to be brutal about. Great composition and lighting. Just a pleasing well balanced picture. I suppose you could always clone out the hydro towers, but that's just nit picking!! Cheers, Gary
