Thanks for your astute comment, Ina. This was taken while walking around Philadelphia on a recent trip. Lots of old buildings to shoot. This was a late afternoon shot with sunlight reflecting off a few of the windows of the building behind me and onto the facing building front. So there is reflected sunlight, shadow, and then sky light as you look across the facade. I added a hard light layer in PS, then reduced its opacity and increased the contrast to give the shot a controlled accent.
The original shot is taller, showing much more of the building but in order to preserve detail at a size I can display on usefilm I had to crop it quite a bit. I tried a few different letterbox crops and settled on this one. I'm pleased that you like it!

Great allignment of windows, beautiful old building, Mark! I love the crop - as if seen from a car rolled down window. Love the various light effects on the brick and the light reflection on the windows, almost each one is different. Lots to look at, very well composed, perfect exposure! Regards, Ina
